- 1 small head cabbage, coarsely shredded
- 1/2 lb mild sausage
- 3/4 lb. ground chuck
- 1 small onion, minced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 can Ro-Tel tomatoes
- 1 can stewed tomatoes
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 c. grated Cheddar Cheese
Place cabbage in crock pot. Cover and put on LOW setting. Meanwhile,
sauté
mild sausage and ground chuck with onion and garlic. Drain meat mixture and add to
cabbage. Add tomatoes and seasoning. Cook all day -- 8 hours-- on LOW setting.
One hour before serving, add grated cheese. Cover and continue to cook on
LOW.
